My plan for the day...

My babies live far away so I am going to celebrate Mother's Day having dinner with my mother this evening. Most of the rest of my day will be doing the thing I like best - sewing.  I just saw this pattern on the Moda site and I happen to have an extra couple of layer cakes.



This looks pretty mindless to me and mindless is what I want to be today!  Happy Mother's Day to all of you  mamas out there!!

    I just downloaded that same pattern - not sure if I am working on that today or trying to get my studio back in some semblance of order after moving and shoving furniture around yesterday. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.
