So annoyed with Blogger!!
Is it just me? I cannot leave comments on any blogs right now. When I try the screen comes up for me to log in and then it just keeps slapping "Anonymous" on my comment posts and STILL won't let me post the comment.
And how the heck do you get someone with Google to respond to something like this?!

Try looking to see if your user name has been changed. Mine said Linda and therefore didn't recognise me...my google friends name is Sunnybec. When I changed it back to Sunnybec it was okay...hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteI've only had trouble with those where the comments were imbedded below the post and had word verification. I think it's a Internet Explorer issue, as I switch over to Firefox or Google Chrome and comment and have no problems on those blogs.

ReplyDeleteAlso others are saying to uncheck the "Stay logged in" button will help
I am not having trouble commenting but I have other issues...like when I go to click on a blog it says no longer exists and then I click again and it is there. Causing me alot of time and grief.
ReplyDeleteWhen you sign in leave the box 'remember me' unchecked. That has worked for me. It's a bummer.

ReplyDeleteIt only affected blogs who have comments embedded below the posts too.
SandyQuilts and Flo have given you great advice. That's what I did to fix the problem and it's been OK ever since.
I agree I think it must be an Internet Explorer problem, I use Safari and haven't had any problems with commenting.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to tell you how much I love the whirly gig blocks. So sweet and that fabric is gorgeous.
Been there..... I had to go through another server rather than my google to get it to work.... now I have no problems. I go to my blog via "Safari" which is an Apple thingy..... once on my blog all is well..... go figure.

ReplyDeleteThat was happening to me too - from what I can figure, only on the blogs with the comments "embedded" feature... Ones like this where there is a pop-up comment thing-y, no problem.
