Hi Suzan - trust me, most of the time, people don't understand why I put so much thought into setting the table. But to me, it's part of the whole process of preparing for having company! :) I am glad to hear that you are one who also take pictures of table-scapes! ;) Makes me feel more "normal"....
Moving is an ugly business. You have to expect chaos before order. But it's important to not let the chaos rush you into setting up a room until you make a plan for it to work for you. But, you already know this. Just don't feel guilty about the chaos. It will resolve itself in time.
I feel your pain. I was living at the property in a small shack while we were building. The weather is getting cooler and we are still building, so we moved back into my friends summer home. It's too cold for outdoor showers/trips to the outhouse. I just reunited with my sewing machine/computer this weekend. You'll get there.
oooh I'm wondering how you got on, a task for sure
thanks for your comments on my blog - I hope you find something in the thrift store, I have to say that it rarely fails to bring me home without a score!
You're superwoman, you can do anything!
ReplyDeleteUh - you've got your work cut out for you.
ReplyDeleteBut won't it be AWESOME when it is all set up and ready to go!!!
Looking good! You'll have it whipped into shape in no time! Just keep thinking how wonderful it's going to be when you're all done moving!
ReplyDeleteRegina
You go girl you'll have it ready by the weekend because that is going to be your happy place. Just give it a little time each day.
ReplyDeleteHi Suzan,
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait to see when it's set up!!!! I am sure it will be such a sanctuary for sewing/quilting!
Thanks for your kind comment on my cornucopia. I think you need to treat yourself to a NEW cornucopia as a housewarming gift for yourself! :)
Take care!
It looks like a wonderful space those boxes will disappear in no time once you get started .
ReplyDeleteOf course you can. I hope some friends come to help though. Many hands make light work. You will enjoy it when its done.
