Needed a little sewing time…

My bedroom still needs organizing after the seasonal clothing swap, there are dished in my sink, the dining room needs to be dusted and vacuumed but I cleaned my studio so I am rewarding myself today.  I found a quilt pattern on line and since I have a variety of charm packs from which to choose, I decided to make a little quilt.  I am using Moda’s “Flutterby” and the fabric is cute…perfect for a baby quilt.  I snagged all the following graphics from Tula Pink’s blog site so you could see the fabric I am using.green.jpg

Bright, cheery and just a little bit "buggy”!  I am sashing with white Kona cotton.  I haven’t decided about the backing but I am sure I have something in my stash that will work.
Hope you had a great weekend!

  1. Sometimes a little bit of sewing is just what a person needs - the other things can wait.

    Have a great week!

  2. Dust in the dining room is ok...dust on fabric...should never happen. Happy sewing and the fabric is beautiful!
