I spent the weekend in upstate New York with some of my favorite people. In preparation to go, I had to finish 3 table runners and a purse. Did I take any photos? Why, of course not! I am not really sure at this point why I even own cameras. Either I can't find one, leave one behind or forget to use one!
I got home on Monday afternoon in time to make it to Burkholder's for the tail end of their sale. I bought a few fabrics for bags
I am not exactly sure which bag designs I will use but is nice to have some new fabrics from which to choose.
A couple of weeks ago I also picked up all of these to use for bags
I love this collection in neutrals and purchased enough fabric to make several different styles of totes and purses.
I also recently got a really good deal on some Moda Martinique by 3 Sisters jelly rolls. I also bought some coordinating fabrics to use for borders and that sort of thing. I want to make a queen size "summery" looking quilt. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a pretty quilt that uses jelly rolls?
Love the fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteOooo! So pretty! And I have some of the grey/brown at the bottom, I'll have to go dig it out...
ReplyDeleteYou have such wonderful taste. Love the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by-you always cheer me up.
I love that first fabric photo!
ReplyDeleteTake a look at the pinwheel quilt in the July/August issue of Quiltmaker. It could all be cut from 2 1/2" strips, and could be done scrappier than their controlled version.
