I do. I bought an entire bolt of fusible fleece, yards of batting and a whole slew of buttons. I will be up in the studio. I am going to drag a small a/c unit to the third floor and just hope that between the iron, sewing machine and the air conditioner, I won’t blow any fuses!
Inspired by Jen’s studio cleanup, I started in mine. I have a long way to go but I have a plan and I want to get organized before I begin sewing this weekend. Furniture will be moved, unnecessary items will FINALLY be stowed in the storage space in the eaves and I am going to run the vacuum. Yes – run the vacuum!!
To relax and have fun with a cookout.
ReplyDeleteI did my clean up back in January ... took me over a week. I've kept it 98% cleaned up since then. This week I started cleaning out my house ... today I'll be in the kitchen.
Can not wait to see the fruits of your labor!!!
ReplyDeleteRun the vacuum...wow, you are really working up there! Have fun!
I am sewing all weekend!! the only thing that won't be sewing related is a trip to the library to pick up a held item and a movie on Sunday! I'm so excited! :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun in your studio. I get just as big a thrill from reorganizing as I do from quilting. I know you will come out with lots of projects to show, and a big sense of accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteWhat a better way to spend the weekend.
Happy 4th!
Michelle
This will be work - but a satisfying once complete.
ReplyDeleteStay cool while you are way up there in the house.
ooooo Have fun!! I feel sooo much more crafty now that my room is clean.
ReplyDeleteHappy Fourth!!
I MUCH prefer quiet Independence Days! I can't wait to see the fruits of your labors. Purses, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteI hope you hooked up the a/c before you vacuumed! I hate the noise of a vaccum but I have to admit it is nice to see a clean studio now and then
