I thought I had a plan when I started quilting this but so far all I have managed to do is stitch in the ditch. I can't believe how long it is taking me! I am going to do one row of echo stitch and then I think I will do something very linear to fill in the open spaces. I wish now that I had basted on some extra border fabric and loaded it onto the LA.
Well, back to slaving over a hot sewing machine!
Good luck finishing it. I'm sure it will turn out beautiful. I already love it! I bought a DWR quilt book last week, so after the wedding I can start on mine.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when I quilted my DWR it took forever to do. It's so pretty it makes me want to do another one and I promised myself never again.
