I am going to embarass myself by posting this photo of my studio
I am going to restore it to some semblance of order this weekend and will post a photo of the (hopefully) vast improvement!
I have been working diligently on organizing my scraps a la Bonnie. Rather than watching the primary returns last night, I put a couple of DVDs into the player, ironed and cut strips for HOURS! I still have so much fabric left to cut but at least I am making some headway.
Oh, there is a quilt giveaway at Camille's blog. If you decide to enter, please let her know that you heard about the giveaway from me. Thanks!
Your sewing studio looks neater and tidier than mine! Any quilter has projects in various stages of development laying around. That's normal for us, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteAt my last Stash Busters' class, we were asked to bring photos of our sewing areas. You think your studio is a mess??? You would have FAINTED at some of these "sewing rooms" - areas stuffed with bags filled with fabric, closets so full they couldn't be shut, broken chest freezers used for scrap storage....I kid you not! My sewing room was by far the neatest one shown - not bragging here because I thought it was a mess when DH took the photos.
Hugs,
Cathy
Two great minds think alike ,I spent yesterday reorganizing my fabric , hopefully today I will get to the rest of the room .
ReplyDeleteOh, my room is WAY worse!!
ReplyDeleteOh you make me envious, by comparison yours is far neater then mine! I suppose we each feel we could do better with the organization, but then -- when would we quilt? I am trying to apply the 15 min. rule, this means organize for 15 min. and then make a mess for the balance of the time in the sewing/quilting area LOL! Have a great day, you gave me a reason to smile!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll feel better once it gets cleaned up. Good luck with your organization!
ReplyDeleteyour studio isn't that messy. it's always fun to get a sneak peek into other peoples craft rooms.
