I know you can see photos of quilts from Quilt Odyssey on lots of other blogs. I just wanted to show some shots of the quilting.
I honestly spend more time looking at the quilting detail than I do at the overall effect of the quilt. Some quilts that I honestly do not appreciate because of style, color or whatever totally blow me away with the quality of quilting.
Now, here's what I bought. See nothing too exciting but I couldn't walk away empty handed, could I?
Lastly - I did not get a chance to stop by the house...so still no photos!
I love those fabrics! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteThat quilting!!! What I'd give to be able to do that!
ReplyDeleteWOW you stayed with your budget very well, I love your fabrics! You are right the quilting in the Hall of Quilts is just unbelievable--some great talent in those quilts! KKB had a wonderful display! Have a great evening--the house anticipation must be very exciting, maybe causing some sleepless nights :>)!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful quilting!
ReplyDeleteI have done all my free-motion work with the BSR, and without it, I don't think I could have enjoyed free-motion. Do tell your sister that she is missing out if she is not using her BSR. ;)
Those quilts are beautiful ,wow just look at that quilting .Thats my favorite part of any quilt show ,the hand quilted ones are even better ,Just a personal preference LOL
ReplyDeleteI have a little Janome that I tote around to classes too. Also, I got one for the students to use at school. They love it!! And WOW, what an amazing quilt!!
