My granddaughter, Emily, arrived on Saturday so I am taking a short break from blogging. I will have photos to post of the wheelchair lap quilts we are making while she is here.
Em went along to my quilt group meeting yesterday. She didn't realize we were actually going to sew. She thought all we did when we got together was eat and talk...
She was only a little bit incorrect!
It's great that your grand-daughter has an interest in quilting. My quilting education began with my grandmother years ago, but I didn't get really active with it until recently. She planted the seed, so to speak. Enjoy your time with her!

ReplyDeleteI googled "reluctant quilter" because I wanted that name for myself, LOL! oh well, back to thinking. My mother, grandmother, and great grandmother all quilted but I didn't pick up the bug until after 50.
ReplyDeleteI like your blog so far-- mind if I link to it?
