| From Pillow |
I have the pieces cut for the second one but just have not sewn it together yet. I have been sleeping bizarre hours in the past few days. I sleep until about 1 am, read for a while then fall back to sleep and I am lucky if I get up at 5. I have no energy to sew at night so I really am getting so far behind. I have a couple of quilts that I promised would be ready by the end of the month. Why in the world I thought I would start the NYE Mystery Quilt is TOTALLY beyond me!

Very lovely! Great job! I know what you mean about sleeping weird hours - I go to sleep late because I'm not tired and then can't drag myself out of bed in the mornings. It sucks!

ReplyDeleteThe pillow is very feminine and pretty. I can commiserate about the strange sleeping hours. I started staying up later trying to sync with my husband's hours now that we're retired (he's a hoot owl, as I say - stays up very late) and now my hours are so messed up I can't sleep at all. I need to readjust and go to bed the time I have for 30 years. We've lived most of our marriage on different time zones in the same house!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pillow. That is such an inspiration and now I need to make one. I hate the not being able to sleep part. I have no trouble falling asleep it's the staying asleep that I can't do. Sleep when you can. Quilting will wait for you and think of it this way, you're aging your fabric in the mean time.
